Eversound is a hearing technology that helps users combat natural hearing loss and creates a vibrant experience by using a set of head phones with volume adjustment. Along with the headphones comes a transmitter that you can plug a microphone into; to display the right pitch and sound into the headphones seniors are wearing. This enables residents to become more socially engaged in conversation, rules out background noise and enhances the resident experience.

Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is a technology that allows the user to figuratively step inside a computer generated 3D world, giving you a 360 degree perspective. A partnership with Rendever has brought much joy to our resident’s daily lives. Equipped with goggles and the technology needed to make VR come to life, residents can explore local attractions, your former residence, and travel abroad to thousands of destinations. This stimulates enhanced cognition, sparks memories that have been locked away, and generates a profound experience for our residents.

It’s Never too Late (IN2L)

It’s Never too Late (IN2L) is an interactive person-centered engagement system utilizing touch screen technology and video-based software designed to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation. This engagement tool is designed for all levels of abilities, and prompts non-verbal and idle residents to engage through sensory stimulation and sensory based programs. A few highlights of this partnership include exercise based programs that are interactive, brain fitness and trivia, cooking programs, movie and music clips, spiritual sessions with hymns and bible studies, as well as endless online programs.

Temi Robots

Temi Robots are roaming robots to help residents virtually connect with loved ones, care providers, and provide additional engagement opportunities when physical visits are not possible. Whether it’s telling a joke, checking the weather, playing a game or connecting with love ones virtually, Temi is designed to bring vitality to residents who are socially engaged with this device.
